Environmental issues and those concerning recycling\nhave recently returned to the fore, especially following the recent Coronavirus\npandemic. According to the opinion of many geologists, including Mario Tozzi,\nzoonoses are the consequence of a type of exploitation of resources that\ndamages biodiversity through the destruction of ecosystems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this sense, the greater frequency of contact\nbetween domestic and wild fauna is the cause of the transmission of viruses\nbetween different animal species, which in some cases involves a further leap\nof species to humans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Changing production cycles in the name of the circular\neconomy can partially solve the problem of environmental pollution. Awareness\nraising actions by government bodies are also fundamental, as is individual\ninitiative through the limitation of waste, sustainable consumption, recycling\nand active participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even today, along the edges of the provincial or city\nroads we cannot notice rubbish abandoned without any restraint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Separate collection is more effective if every single\nindividual is committed, fighting what are the wrong and sometimes illegal\nbehaviors. A lot of help can also come from schools. Through dedicated\nprojects, it is possible to raise awareness of environmental issues and the\nimportance of recycling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Inserting diversified containers, but also activating\ncreative recycling projects, as well as promoting works that help to understand\nthe importance of recycling, can be a winning strategy to make young citizens\nmore respectful of the environment and able to promote actions, both in the\nworkplace, both in private life, aimed at eco-sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Likewise, it is important that in public places, clubs\nand entertainment venues, stations are distributed to eliminate waste in a\ndifferentiated manner, following the instructions generally shown on the packs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The separate waste collection containers must bear\nclear and intuitive indications that can facilitate the delivery of waste in\nthe most appropriate way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Activities can be promoted that further motivate\nrecycling, such as rewarding virtuous condominiums through tax relief or by\nsetting up machines that return tickets for public transport in exchange for\nthe recycling of some materials, as happens in other countries, in particular\nwith plastic bottles, so as to make the recovery chain more efficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The promotion of activities that allow reflection on environmental\nissues is also very useful: neighborhood committees and associations could\nmonitor the state of the places and involve the community in cleaning and\nrecycling actions, so as to offer awareness raising opportunities that turn\ninto concrete actions of surveillance and improvement of the territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Environmental issues have inspired many artists and\nscreenwriters. There is no shortage of exponents of environmental art, who with\ntheir ideas have framed natural phenomena by reproducing them in paintings and\nsculptures: their activity also focuses on the fragility of nature up to the\nmost extreme forms, which aim to prevent deterioration and the environmental\nsituation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The world of culture also offers us numerous examples\nthrough cinematography, whether with a documentary and investigative slant, or\nthrough historical or fantastic narration, has repeatedly brought to the fore\nthe issues of environmental degradation, pollution and uncontrolled exploitation\nof the resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From the sci-fi Avatar to Erin Brockovich, to then\nmove on to animated cinema, each director has brought their own vision on the topic\nhoping to have a strong impact not only on adults, but also on the younger\ngenerations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If in 2008 it was the turn of Disney, with its robot\nWALL-E speaks to us of a wasteland in which man has exploited resources to the\nlimit, reducing the landscape to an uninhabitable landfill, in 2020 it is the\nturn of an all-Italian film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are talking about TRASH: The Legend of the Magic\nPyramid, the film that arrived in cinemas on October 16 and presented for the\nfirst time as an opening title as part of the Alice nella Citt\u00e0 event as part\nof the Roma Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The feature film is directed by Luca della Grotta and\nFrancesco Dafano, produced by AL ONE and distributed by Notorius. The film was\nsupported by the Italian consortia for the recycling of packaging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this sense, the Made in Italy work has received the\napplause of CONAI and the supply chain consortia CIAL, COMIECO, COREPLA, COREVE\nand RICREA, which have decided to support Trash thanks to its environmental\nmessage and in support of the circular economy. The film, in fact, emphasizes\nand makes young and old alike reflect on the importance of recycling as a way\nto give waste a new purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As we have seen, global action is important to\nsafeguard the planet. If many industries, such as CART-ONE for example, are\nadapting their procedures with a view to a circular economy, the consumer\nbecomes an active part of this supply chain through actions that involve active\nparticipation in the differentiation of waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
